Oro-Medonte is the township between Barrie and Orillia, stretching from the Lake Simcoe shore at Shanty Bay and Hawkestone up to the ski hills at Horseshoe Valley and Mount St. Louis Moonstone.
Almost every property here is rural or waterfront: estate lots on the concession roads, lakefront homes and cottages on the shore roads, and chalets and new builds around Horseshoe Valley. Space is rarely the problem. Distance to the panel, well water and winter access are. Long driveways mean we can often bring the truck right to the pad, but sloped shore lots still need a crane. Nearly all of the township is on wells, so pre-filtering the fill water and a start-up metal treatment are standard on our deliveries here.
The ski hill neighbourhoods buy tubs for after the last run and want them big and hot: the Jacuzzi J-485 and J-495 are the fit, and the SmartTub app matters when the house sits empty midweek. Lakeshore residents, many of them retirees, prefer a six seater like the J-375 or J-445 for daily use. On the estate lots a Serenity outdoor sauna with a wood or electric heater is a common addition beside the tub, and there is room for a proper cold plunge next to both.
